Coffee Hangover in BUCH

On Tue, KY, Rach & I went to the 14th floor in TS for our ULSS assignment.. We're planning to do a coffee demo. So, we asked Mr Chris to assist us as he's the head of the Coffee & Tea Academy there. We went there after lunch so he explained briefly about the origins of coffee that came from Ethiopia where a goat herder discovered his goats went hyper after eating some strange berries. So, Kaldi the goat herder brought to the Islam monks to try it but they disapproved of its use and threw it in the fire from which an enticing aroma billowed.. They raked some out of the fire and mixed it with water, yielding the world's first cup of coffee.

Then he showed us how to make a cup of espresso first then cappuccino which was quite complicating. BUt, we had class so he told us to come back later. After ULSS, we returned and he continued with latte and macchiato.. Then, KY wanted to do frappe so we borrowed a blender from Samplings and made a nice cup of frappe actually a lot of it till we can't finish it.. Mr Chris added bubblegum syrup into the latte and asked another student to try it, I tried it and it tasted bad.. I added curacao and it tasted better (:

Then, he made mojito for us.. The 'halal' version as the original version uses white rum. It was ultimately refeshing!! KY and I ordered a bottle of Wild Mint syrup from him so we can also make it at home. We drank so much of coffee till it became like a coffee hangover. So, we can start practicing on making the 5 types of coffee on Fri.. The order goes like this :

Rach - Cappuccino
KY - Frappe
Me - Latte & Macchiato

Then, Karan came over to disturb us and suggested that we do coffee liqueur instead but that is far too advanced for us at the moment. He taught us how to do basic coffee art.. This was mine :

It looks like shit cz I didn't clean the stirrer after doing once. In order to do a nice one, you have to clean the tool to avoid overlapping the new line with foam.
