After dinner, we went to Kuala Selangor to see the fireflies. It was about 7 when we left the restaurant. I forgot to mention the restaurant's name. It was called "New Delicious Beggar Chicken Restaurant". It was another 90 mins ride to the place. There was various signboards regarding the fireflies. We had to park outside the entrance of the place. We had to walk from there. It was RM 40 per boat & only 4 persons allowed on 1 boat. The boat ride was great & the fireflies were beautiful. They were all on a tree & when their lighted ends flashed, the tree looked like a Christmas tree! It's impossible to take pictures of the fireflies because it was dark & if you used flash, you would only be able to see a very bright light. The boatman said that if special lens were used, then it would only be able to capture them clearly. After the boat ride, we went back home. The outing was tiring yet but memorable & exciting!
The entrance..
The description of the fireflies.. They only grow up to 0.5-1cm!
